it's just one dude for right now.
it's just one dude for right now.
For a considerable amount of time in my youth I was very into art and drew constantly. Once I was in high school and found out about civil engineering I thought that was what I wanted to do. Around that same time in high school I stumbled into music by way of playing the guitar. I learned to play by learning jazz, which required me to learn music theory. By the next semester I was in an amateur funk bank with some friends as well as performing with the high school Jazz Band. Not too long afterward, I was dual-enrolled in high school and college, and began performing at the college I attended. I played, wrote, recorded, and taught music for the next fifteen years.
During that fifteen years I learned about business, formalizing curricula of various kinds, applying abstraction in uncanny situations, and producing high quality media using nothing but the bare principles of filmmaking. I've invested thousands of hours to develope my skills. Through many restless days and nights, a heavy rotation of various jobs, and other such terrible things, I have arrived at a context that I can thoroughly understand myself in. Page Works & Co. represents virtually every aspect of me. Everything I know and have experienced is embodied in each brand.
If you understand the brands you understand me. If you understand me you'll understand the brands.
Aside from (yet also part of) business there is the considerable push toward community development. The specific goal is to cultivate the creative soil in Clarksville such that creatives will thrive financially from their work while living and transacting in Clarksville. An economic base must be made and turned self-sustaining for this to be achieved. My approach has been to take a small slice of the community, test my hypotheses, and (hopefully) create a template that can be modified to be scaled. The Clarksville Indie Film Fest and my membership at Downtown Artists Co-op are aspects of one of those hypotheses that I am testing - I am conducting R&D at the community level.

Hands on training in Pre-production, Production, and Post-Production. Some topics covered: grip & gaffe, screenplay writing & story development, production notebook assembly, framing techniques, casting, production design, sound design, and more. The culmination of the program was a required short-film made to mandated specifications.
An educational business program that covered the foundations of business. Hosted by non-profit organization, BizVets Connect, in collaboration with the Clarksville-Montgomery County Library. Led and taught by business owners of various backgrounds and industries.
This training program gave an overview of business concepts. It was overseen by members of Operation HOPE and taught in collaboration with professionals and business owners of various fields as guest teachers. The program culminated in mandatory submission of a business plan as well as a public presentation.
This program included regular intervals of performance, 1-on-1 instruction, rigorous practice & band rehearsals, as well as traditional class time. My principal instrument was the guitar. While there, I was part of the Guitar Department as well as a member of the APSU Jazz Combo. Towards the end of my time in the program, research into old pedagogy sent me on a path to develop my own.

This is a new position being developed collaboratively, as I am the first in the organization to do it. The focus of the role is to coordinate with the Events Calendar manager and the Social Media Marketing Team ensure that upcoming events get local publicity. The main requirement is writing blurbs about upcoming events (First Thursday exhibitions, workshops, fundraiser auctions, etc.) to entities such as Clarksville Now, Clarksville Online, Main Street, and any other local events websites.

Co-Founder, Member
I and four others from the same Cinematography Program cohort at Nashville Film Institute formed a collective after graduating. Jobs are recommended between the five of us, and we at times team up to work on projects. Both separately and as a group, there has been work on content ranging from documentaries, to film, to TV, and to corporate. When working together the collective functions more as a cooperative, where pay is divided equally and roles are chosen fluidly.
Founder, Administrator
In August of 2021 I started a Facebook group named, "Clarksville Film & Production (CF&P)". The first members added to the group were my fellow 2021 52 Hour Film Festival contestants. Membership plateaued at 30 up until 2023. The group has grown over 900% since the 2023 Clarksville Indie Film Fest (a very sharp increase in membership at the time of this blurb). There were 4 months of bi-weekly meetups, several workshops, and several programs developed that year.
